Smart home-sellers understand that, when it comes time to sell their house or condo, getting it into ‘Show-Home” condition is an important step towards getting top dollar and selling quickly.  Buyers traditionally spend about 15 minutes in the home before moving on to the next one.  As a home seller, you want to make sure that your home appears to be as problem-free as possible, so that the buyers come back for that all-important ‘Second Look”.

Flooring is an important consideration when showing your house or condo.  Here are a few highlights of the attached video

Carpeting

Is your carpeting worn and out-dated, or just a little dirty?  Will a deep cleaning shampoo provide the results, or do you need to replace torn and worn areas.

Vinyl

Is your vinyl flooring modern, or dates the home back to the 70′s (or beyond).  good quality vinyl can be installed for a reasonably low cost.

If you need to replace your flooring before you sell, it is best to go with a neutral color so that it will match most buyers tastes. It is also important to find the best value flooring. There is no need to buy the most expensive flooring possible.
